As a mentor for three bachelor students at NTNU, I had the privilege of guiding them through their thesis project on the assistive device I invented, U-GO. The students, enrolled in the Technology Design and Leadership program, explored the design, functionality, and impact of U-GO, applying their academic knowledge to a real-world innovation.

In this role, I provided insights into the product development process, shared my experiences as an innovator, and supported the students in refining their approach to design and analysis. Together, we delved into the technical and user-centric aspects of U-GO, ensuring their work was both academically robust and practically relevant.

Mentoring these students was an inspiring experience that highlighted the value of collaboration between academia and industry. It reaffirmed my commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the next generation of designers and leaders in bringing meaningful solutions to life.
